Online Course on the Localization of the SDGs
Applications from 24 July to 6 September
Dear members,
The course “Localizing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): Tools for local transformation”, is the second online training course organized by the World Organization and the Provincial Council of Barcelona, and will be held from 17 September to 22 December.
It will be free and available in English, French and Spanish, and directed preferentially to technical and political leaders of the fields of international relations, sustainable development, public policy planning, and other areas of government related to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda.
This course is based on the UCLG Learning modules designed according to the road map of the Global Taskforce of Local and Regional Governments, UNDP-Art and UN-Habitat, to train and provide tools for local and regional governments and their associations, implementing and articulating the SDGs at the local and national level. In this sense, it will provide tools for the involvement on the formulation of national policies in order to generate an environment that facilitates local and regional action.
In total, 35 openings are offered for each one of the three modalities (English, French and Spanish). All members who carry out their professional activity managing local public policies for sustainable development in any part of the world can apply to the course.
The training will have a total duration of 63 learning hours. Applications will be received from 24 July to 6 September by UCLG Learning and the Observatory of Decentralized Cooperation, through this
link.
Sincerely,
The UCLG World Secretariat
