Dear partners,
We thank you again for taking part in the series of consultations towards the Second World Forum of Intermediary Cities, which will take place on 4-8 October 2021, hosted by Kütahya.
From all the rich material we have gathered during the consultations held last May, we kept highlights and priorities that would allow us to go further in developing the potential of Intermediary Cities in defining the Post-COVID world. As we make progress with the preparations for the Forum, we are glad to share with you a one-page summary of these highlights and priorities, which will serve as the basis for our collective discussions in October.
Regarding the session on Intermediary Cities & Caring Places – Economic Capital of Resilience, you will find attached some of the takeaways, structured around three main blocks:
- Key concepts kept from the consultation session,
- Work lines & priorities that should receive additional consideration by the Forum of Intermediary Cities,
- Specific actions and messages for joint advocacy and recommendation, at local, national and global levels.
We welcome any comments and additional inputs from you. Feel free to complete the summary and return it to us by no later than August 31st.
We thank you in advance for your contributions and active engagement in this process.
Do not hesitate to contact us in case of any doubts.
Best regards,
