Online course launch – New edition
"Localizing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): Tools for Local Transformation"
The global pandemic caused by the COVID-19 has set new challenges difficult to achieve for all levels of administration. These challenges were already included in the 2030 Agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Now it has been exposed that achieving the SDG is key to preserving our planet and guarantying the well-being of the entire population.
The Barcelona Provincial Council and the world organization United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG) -through the Observatory on Decentralized Cooperation and UCLG Learning- are launching a new edition of an online training on the localization of the SDGs. This course is aimed primarily at public administration personnel, around the world, and its objective is to help local and regional governments to adopt the 2030 Agenda and to achieve the SDGs.
To facilitate access to as many countries as possible and promote diversity among participants, the course will be taught in Spanish, English and French simultaneously. The course is completely free of charge as the costs are covered by the promoting entities, and will be held from September 17 to December 22, 2020. The number of places is limited to 35 per modality.
The pre-registration period ends on September 6th.
