Dear members,
We are delighted to announce that the
Program for the
18th International Conference of the International Observatory on Participatory Democracy (IOPD), organised by
Barcelona City Council for
25th, 26th and
27th November is
now available.
Over
150 speakers will be participating in the Conferences, Round Tables and Workshops, where questions such as
citizen initiatives,
direct democracy and
inclusive democracy ecosystems will be debated and discussed. You can consult the biographies of the speakers confirmed to date by clicking on this
link.
If your city is committed to the defence and improvement of democracy, we urge you to participate in this meeting of the world’s largest
international local democracy network. You will be able to share your experiences and create synergies with other participants in the reinforcement of the
role of cities as key spaces for the promotion and leadership of participatory democracy at both local level and worldwide.
