My name is ○○○ and I am the Director of ◯◯◯ City's International Affairs Division.
I would like to start by apologizing for the late reply. I heard about your request the
other day from Mr. ?? in our City Improvement Department’s City Landscaping Division
and am including the city’s response below.
We first want to express our gratitude for your desire to promote exchanges and possibly
become our sister city, out of the numerous local governments throughout Japan. The
International Affairs Division in our Citizens Participation Department is the main
contact for exchanges with overseas cities, with other departments working to support
various types of international exchange and cooperation with many nationalities.
