Reminder: EU Call for Proposals for Local and Regional Authorities
Deadline: 6 December 2018

Dear members,

As informed on 31 October, the EU has published its 2018 Call for Proposals on Local Authorities: Partnerships for sustainable cities.

Objectives and specifics of this Call for Proposals

The objective of the Call for Proposals is to promote integrated urban development through partnerships built among local authorities and of partner countries in accordance with the 2030 Development Agenda.

The proposals made by the members should focus on:

Strengthening urban governance
Ensure inclusiveness of cities
Improve resilience and greening of cities
Improve prosperity and innovation in cities

UCLG encourages our member local and regional governments in Asia-Pacific, Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America, Central America, the Caribbean, the Mediterranean and the Middle‑East to submit proposals.

Please note that the deadline to send a first Concept Note (2-3 pages) is 6 December 2018.
