UCLG World Forum of Intermediary Cities: Registration open
5-7 July 2018, Chefchaouen, Morocco
Dear members,
We are pleased to inform you that the
first UCLG World Forum of Intermediary Cities will take place from
5 to 7 July 2018 at the
Complexe Mohammed VI in Chefchaouen (Morocco), at the kind invitation of the Mayor of Chefchaouen, Mr Mohamed Sefiani, and with the support of the Moroccan Government.
Registration
Registration is now open.
Please confirm your participation by filling in the
online registration form via Google Forms. You will need to fill in one form per participant.
Please note that the deadline for registrations is 20 June.
Draft programme
You can access the
draft programme of the Forum by clicking the link below. Please note that the programme may be subject to minor changes.
This first edition aims to develop a specific global agenda of Intermediary Cities, through an event gathering a selected group of around 200 local governments and national and international partners. The objective is to consolidate a permanent platform that will allow members to exchange experiences.
You will find a presentation of the World Forum, including

Visas
We remind you that you may need a visa to be able to enter Morocco, and that this process can be lengthy. We strongly recommend you start the visa procedure as soon as possible.

Logistical information
Chefchaouen is located 2 hours from the closest airport:
Tangier Ibn Batouta Airport.
Group transfers by bus from Tangier airport to Chefchaouen are foreseen on 4 and 5 July, and on the afternoon of 7 July and 8 July for the return journey, subject to the provision of arrival and departure information.
Further information on Chefchaouen as well as a detailed programme will be sent in due course.
